🔥 The Tea on This Yarn:
- Fiber Content: 70% Pima Cotton, 20% Bamboo, 10% Hemp This is a unique and excellent combo for a great summer yarn providing softness, durability and memory retention. 10/10
- Color Range: Meh, it is somewhat limited but it’s a brand new yarn. Fingers crossed this improves. 6/10
- Frogability: Super easy 🐸 (undoing your mistakes has never been smoother… too bad life doesn’t work like that). 10/10
- Splitting: None, zero, zilch! 10/10
- Stitch Definition: You can see the stitches for miles! Sure, there’s just a hint of a halo but that doesn’t interfere at all. 10/10
- Feel: Like your favorite old tshirt. You won’t be afraid to wear it because it’s too nice OR because it’s too scratchy. 10/10
- Drape: This is a nice drape for a DK weight yarn. Just what I would expect. 10/10
- Washability: While the label lists handwashed, the website does say it can be machine washed but to expect some shrinkage. 8/10
- Warnings or concerns: There is a very minor amount of shedding in this yarn. If I wasn’t on a white top, I would not have noticed it. 9/10
- Price: It’s definitely not priced for mass producing market pieces but a great value for personal items. 7/10
✨ Overall verdict: This might just become one of my staple yarns. I love the feel and the overall look once it is worked up, probably more than I do on the skein. While it isn’t a budget yarn, it also is not a premium priced yarn. 90/100 total rating! Fun fact: This yarn is 100% plant fibers. 🧶
